Rice spent his entire career, 16 years, with the Sox and over that time the left fielder crushed 382 home runs, drove in 1,451 runs and batted .298. His greatest year came in 1978, when he rode such gaudy stats as a .315 batting average, 213 hits (including 15 triples and 46 home runs) and 139 RBI to an AL MVP Award. The eight-time All-Star was inducted into the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame in 1995 and finally in 2009, as many fans and baseball historians believed, he was enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Using a blue marker, Jim Rice has hand signed this 8x10 photograph and added the inscription "HOF 09." A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
