Originally signed as an amateur free agent in 1998 by the Pittsburgh Pirates, Aramis Ramirez has blossomed into one of the elite players in baseball today. After joining the Chicago Cubs in 2003, Ramirez’s career took off. His signature season came in 2006 when he hit .291 with 38 HR and 119 RBI.
